PREMIUM RATE (PRM) SERVICE

A subscriber to this service can receive or make calls using his Universal Personal Number from any BSNL phone. The subscriber will be given some management codes and password. Using that he can convert/reconvert any BSNL phone into his Universal Personal Number. All the calls made by subscriber using his UPN will be billed at his UPN by the IN platform. The subscriber will be able to get all his calls incoming on the UPN number anywhere in India.
The present PRM service is accessible only through ITC.

Tariff

Initial and Miscellaneous Charges:

Monthly Rental	At par with normal Rental as applicable to different exchange system capacity.
PRM Rental Per month	500
Minimum Hire Period	One Month
Any modification, addition, and deletion in time dependent routing, origin dependent routing and all such available features	100 Per addition/Per deletion

Presently, pulses of 2, 3, 4, 8, 12, 30, 60 and 90 seconds are permissible. These pulses can be allowed on the new IN platform as well.

All the other miscellaneous charges including Vanity number will be as already approved in case of Free phone, UAN etc.

The following revenue share on graded basis is proposed to customers of Premium Rate Service:
