New telephone connection under this scheme will be provided within 15 days after the payment of the entire deposit amount.

The applicant has to pay a non-interest bearing deposit of Rs 30,000/- per connection.

An applicant desirous of applying under TATKAL Scheme has to register by paying an initial deposit equivalent to registration fee for Non-OYT at the time of submitting application.

The remaining amount will be collected only if the telephone connection is feasible to be provided within two weeks. If the telephone connection is not feasible, the initial deposit will be refunded within two weeks.

Normal rental will be charged for a telephone connection provided under this scheme.

Third party transfer of this connection will not be permitted during first 3 years. But normal transfer/shift of telephone will be permitted as per the normal-rules applicable to other telephones.

The telephone provided under the TATKAL scheme can be surrendered at any time.

In case of surrender of telephone, the amount refunded out of a deposit of Rs.30,000/- will vary as given below
