The date of effect is from 01.03.2001.

099 Access at 180 sec. Pulse rate is allowed as in case of Internet, instead of present STD pulse rate of 36/48/48/48 sec.

Access to internet through Inet is made free of volume charges of I-net as the subscriber is already paying Internet access charges.

Leased line rentals/Group band data circuit rentals will be as per prevailing rates. However the volume charges have been reduced from the existing Rs.8/- per kilo segment for local call and Rs. 20/- per kilo segment for national call to Rs. 2/- per kilo segment for both for local and national calls. For International calls the above rates are applicable only for the domestic portion.

Line, Modem and Port rentals have been combined and reduced as shown in the table below.

Installation charges and security deposit for modem have been combined & to be paid as deposit as per existing rates.

The modem rentals are exempted in case the party it self arranges the modems for 64 Kbps X.25 leased circuits.

The Modem rental/security deposit paid by the subscriber shall be adjusted in the bills in case the modem is arranged by the customer.

Minimum subscription period has been reduced to one year and for temporary connections the period is three months with double the tariffs on same analogy of leased lines. For X.28 dial up connections the Minimum subscription period is two months.

*

For the 128 kbps speeds the coefficients as prescribed by TRAI may be followed, which is 1.8 times of the 64 kbps circuit tariff.
