SUBJECT:
Invitation of proposals from companies for provision of Answering
Machine Service to PSTN subscribers under the revised scheme covering
large area of operation on non-exclusive and franchise basis.
BSNL
invites proposals from the interested eligible companies for providing
Answering Machine Service to PSTN subscribers under the
revised scheme covering larger area of operation on
non-exclusive and franchise basis.
The ELIGIBILITY
CRITERIA for the Companies to become franchisee of BSNL under this
scheme is as under:

The Company should be registered & incorporated in India under the
Companies Act, 1956.
·
The company should have a minimum annual turnover of Rupees Twenty
Five lakhs during last one year in any of the areas i.e.
Telecommunications or Information Technology or Provision of Content
or Value Added Services to BSOs/ CMSPs.
·
The company may or may not have DOT license for providing VMS in the
area of operation
·
The Company shall not have any commercial/financial interest in any
Basic Services /Cellular Services/ NLD/ILD operating companies.
Interested Companies who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned
above, may request Jt. DDG (NM), BSNL Corporate Office or GM
(Operation)/ DGM (Operation) in the office of CGM concerned for a copy
of the Franchise Agreement upon signing a Non-disclosure Agreement

The
copy of the Franchise Agreement containing the commercial, Financial
Conditions & Technical conditions shall only be supplied on receipt of
the signed NDA, copy of power attorney to act as authorized signatory
& the supporting documents in respect of the eligibility criteria. The
documents will become available from the Circles w.e.f. 16.07.2003.
There is no closing date for obtaining the documents as the service
can be started at any time.
